I’m 3K plus words into “The Komar Incident” which puts me about halfway through my planned 6K word story. I may well end up with more as the story progresses. I found it quite beneficial and provides insight into the story’s pacing. I already ended up adding scenes that I had not even considered when the story idea struck me. While recommended for novels, I am finding it quite helpful for short fiction as well. Please check out Marshall Ryan Maresca’s blog and I am sure you will find his other writings as helpful as I do.
