So I offered “Circular Run” as a free promo on Amazon over the 4th of July weekend. The promo ran for five days and the 63 copies were downloaded between the US, UK, Germany and Canada. That then resulted in the actual sale of two copies and the loan of one copy. So almost a 20:1 ratio of free to paid. Hmm? And one was so close to the end of the promotion that they may have thought it was free until too late.
Oh well, now to see about putting these stories up on Barnes and Noble for the Nook. Maybe Smashwords too?
